Deoxyribonucleic acid from fish sperm has been used:
  • to study the effect of DNA in Maillard reaction.[1]
  • as a standard for DNA measurements.[2]
  • asa component of artificial sputum media (ASM), which is designed to simulate theconditions within the cystic fibrosis (CF) airway for growing bacterialcultures.[3][2]
