Description

General description

Certified pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to pharmacopeia primary standards.

Trehalose is a naturally occurring disaccharide which is used as a nontoxic cryoprotectant of enzymes, membranes and vaccines.[1] It serves as a carbohydrate reserve in microorganisms and protects them from adverse conditions.[2]

Application
