Dr. Adam Raw is the Head of Materials Science R&D of Merck KGaA, operating as MilliporeSigma in North America leading its efforts in Bioprinting, Drug Delivery and Energy Storage Materials. Dr. Raw has been with Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany since 2012 in innovation centric roles including R&D, Product Management, Business Development and External Partnership Management. He received his Ph.D. in solid state chemistry from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois with a focus on transparent conductive oxides and energy storage materials. In his career Dr. Raw has helped steer numerous academic and industrial collaborations and consortia including those with DoE, ESPRC, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and UCLA.

Yuwei Heinzel is a regulatory expert for the registration of API/Excipient/Drug, covering all countries and regions worldwide. She has more than 17 years of regulatory experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She is now head of pharma registration, Germany, within the regulatory management of {hcompany}. She is a member of the European APIC working group of emerging markets, M4Q(R2), and vice chair of the China Task Force. She is also a member of the German Regulatory Affairs Association (DGRA).
