General description
Spartin is also known as Spastic paraplegia 20 protein and Trans-activated by hepatitis C virus core protein 1. Spartin has been implicated in endosomal trafficking and microtubule dynamics. Spartin is ubiquitously expressed, but the highest expression found in adipose tissue. Aberrant spartin can cause spastic paraplegia autosomal recessive type 20 (SPG20).
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to human Spartin.
Application
Detect Spartin using this rabbit polyclonal antibody, Anti-Spartin Antibody validated for use in western blotting.
