Pd(COD)(DQ) is a rare example of a robust, air-stable, phosphine free 18 electron Pd(0) complex. The complex easily undergoes facile ligand exchange with a range of ancilliary ligands to give useful palladium compounds suitable for a range of catalytic transformations.

Application

Zero-valent palladium species are active catalytic species in a range of useful catalytic reactions, including C-C coupling, C-N coupling, allylic substituion and alkene funcitonilizaiton reactions.
