Description

Application

Piperidine may be used as a base for the oxidative homocoupling of terminal alkynes to form symmetrical 1,4-disubstituted 1,3-diynes in the presence of copper nanoparticle on polyaniline support catalyst. It may also be used for cleaving the Fmoc-group in N^α-9-fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl (Fmoc) amino acids.
