General description

Amberlite is an ion exchange resin, which is macroporous weak acid cation exchange resin. The matrix is a polyacrylic with a particle diameter of 500 − 750 μm.

Application

Amberlite Weakly Acidic Cation Exchanger, Hydrogen form has been used in purification of thiamine from crude food extracts[1] and bovine lactoperoxidase enzyme.[2]
The Amberlite weakly acidic cation exchanger is in the hydrogen form and is used in protein chromatography, ion exchange chromatography and cation exchange media.
