This fragment electrophile, or ″scout″ fragment, can be used alone in fragment-based covalent ligand discovery or incorporated into bifunctional tools such as electrophilic PROTAC^® molecules for targeted protein degradation as demonstrated by the Cravatt Lab for E3 ligase discovery.
