Transmembrane member 16A (TMEM16A) or Anoctamin1 (Ano1) is a calcium-activated chloride channel. It is expressed in the interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC) in the gastrointestinal tract. The gene encoding this protein is localized on human chromosome 11q13.3.

The protein has a role in smooth muscle contraction, salivary secretion and cardiac and neuronal excitability. TMEM16A has been associated with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and breast cancer.
