General description
The hinged stainless steel gable hood reduces the evaporation of tempering liquid and saves energy. The rising steam is led back into the bath via a drip edge. This means that the tempering liquid remains in the bath and refill cycles are extended. An additional benefit is that the hood prevents contamination of the samples in the bath. The hinged stainless steel gable hood is designed for operation up to +60°C.
