Specificity

Clone JAR 11 is a mouse monoclonal antibody that specifically detects Factor H-binding factor variant 2 in Neisseria meningitidis. It targets an epitope within 43 amino acids from the C-terminal half.

Immunogen

His-tagged recombinant Factor H-binding protein (fHbp) from variant group 2 strain 2996 expressed in E. coli.

Reconstitution

1.0 mg/mL. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.

Storage and Stability

Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
