Biochem/physiol Actions

CuET, a metabolite of disulfiram, is an inhibitor of p97 segregase adaptor NPL4 that exhibits potent anti-cancer effects. Apparently CuET binds NPL4 and induces its aggregation, which disables the vital p97–NPL4–UFD1 pathway and induces to cell death.
