General description
Anaerocult™ C Mini contains chemicals that bind a precisely determined amount of oxygen in the special incubation bag and release a defined quantity of CO2, producing an oxygen-depleted, CO2-enriched atmosphere. This creates the right atmospheric conditions for the microaerophilic or capnophilic microorganisms to grow. The Anaerocult™ C Mini special incubation bags, which are included with the product, can hold two Petri dishes. These can be two different culture media plates inoculated with one sample or two plates with the same medium inoculated with two different samples. The Anaerocult™ C Mini sachet is moistened with 3 ml of water and placed in the special incubation bag with the Petri dishes.
Application
Anaerocult™ C mini is a gas generator system for the incubation of one or two Petri dishes in a low-oxygen, high-CO2 atmosphere for the growth of anaerobic microorganisms.
