Opis

Opis ogólny

L-glutamine is found to be one of the most abundant amino acid in blood stream. It is useful in a number of biochemical processes like production of other amino acids, glucose, nucleotides, protein, and glutathione. It may also be used as a supplement to increase the intestinal villous height, maintain mucosal integrity and stimulate gut mucosal cellular proliferation. It may also find applications in the treatment of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, since it has the tendency to suppress gut and oral-toxic side effects.

This certified reference material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034. This CRM is traceable to primary material from an NMI, e.g. NIST or NMIJ.

L-glutamina jest niezbędnym aminokwasem, który jest kluczowym składnikiem podłoża hodowlanego i służy jako główne źródło energii dla komórek w hodowli. L-glutamina jest bardzo stabilna w postaci suchego proszku i zamrożonego roztworu. W płynnych pożywkach lub roztworach podstawowych L-glutamina ulega jednak stosunkowo szybkiej degradacji. Optymalna wydajność komórek zwykle wymaga uzupełnienia pożywki L-glutaminą przed użyciem.
