Application

Diethylbenzene (DEB) can be used to synthesize divinylbenzene (DVB) by dehydrogenation reaction. DVB is used in the production of crosslinked polystyrene.[1] DEB can be also employed as low temperature heat transfer fluid with biphenyls.[2]
