General description

Complex of N-terminal GST recombinant full-length human p110δ, and recombinant full length, human p85α, coexpressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system

Quality

Evaluated by Kinase assay: A 25 μl kinase reaction is conducted in a buffer containing 40 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 20 mM MgCl2, 100 uM ATP, 200 μM PI:PS substrate and p110δ/p85α for 17 minutes at 30°C. ATP reduction is detected using ADP-Glo Kinase Assay Platform

Physical properties

146 kDa (p110δ), 84 kDa (p85α)

Physical form

25 mM Tris, pH 8.0, 69 mM NaCl, 1.35 mM KCl, 0.03% Tween-20, 3 mM DTT, and 50% glycerol

Storage and Stability

Stable for > 6 month at –80°C from date of receipt.

Other Notes

SIZE: 1044 amino acids; 119479 Da
SUBUNIT: Heterodimer of a p110 (catalytic) and a p85 (regulatory) subunit. Interacts with ERAS (By similarity).
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed predominantly in leukocytes.
PTM: Autophosphorylation on Ser-1039 results in the almost complete inactivation of the lipid kinase activity.
SIMILARITY: SwissProt: O00329 ## Belongs to the PI3/PI4-kinase family. & Contains 1 PI3K/PI4K domain.
