General description

TWEEN 65 is a fatty acid polyoxyethylene ester of sorbitan. [1]

Application

TWEEN 65 has been used in a study as a carbon source for the reductive dechlorination of hexachlorobenzene in a mixed, methanogenic culture. [2] It has also been used in a study to investigate its ability to stimulate growth of the hypocotyl of Amaranthus caudatus L. [3]
