General description
The antibody MEM-262 recognizes β chains of the TCR expressed by HPB-ALL cell line [carrying V(beta5.3)] and a small subset of peripheral blood T cells.
TCR β/TCRB (T cell receptor β chain) is located on human chromosome 7q34. This gene has at least 65 rearrangeable Vβ gene segments (27 Vβ families), two Dβ segments (Dβ1 and Dβ2), two clusters of Jβ gene segments (Jβ1.1–Jβ 1.6 and Jβ2.1–Jβ2.7) and two Cβ gene segments.

Immunogen
Human thymoma cell line HPB-ALL
Application
The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis. Suggested working dilution for Flow Cytometry is 2-8 μg/mL of sample. Indicated dilution is recommended starting point for use of this product. Working concentrations should be determined by the investigator.
Biochem/physiol Actions
The complementary determining region 3 (CDR3) of the TCR β/TCRB (T cell receptor β) is essential for the identification of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC)−peptide complex.
