BDT001 is a selective negative allosteric modulator of Flt-3 receptor tyrosine kinase. It showed minimal binding to 25 diverse RTKs and 49 intracellular kinases. In primary cultures of adult DRG neurons, BDT001 reversed the potentiation of capsaicin-induced TRPV1 activation by FL, with a maximal effect at 1 μM. In a mouse study BDT001 alleviated nerve injury-induced peripheral neuropathic pain but had no effect on nociception in non-injured animals.
