General description

Picoxystrobin is classified under the strobulins family of fungicides that exhibit broad range activity against plant pathogenspathogenic fungi.[1]

Application

Picoxystrobin may be used as a reference standard for the determination of picoxystrobin in:
  • Honeybees using acetonitrile-based extraction followed by dispersive solid-phase extraction (d-SPE) cleanup and gas chromatography−tandem quadrupole mass spectrometry (GC−MS/MS).[2]
  • Foodstuffs by liquid chromatography (LC) combined with MS/MS, atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI) and electrospray ionization (ESI).[3]
  • Paddy field water by direct injection using LC coupled with quadrupole-linear ion trap (QqLIT)-MS.[4]
  • Maize by acetonitrile-based extraction with dispersive liquid−liquid microextraction (DLLME) followed by GC-MS.[5]
