Description

General description

Bedaquiline fumarate is an antibioitc with antimycobacterial properties. Bedaquiline fumarate a fumarate salt prepared from equimolar amounts of bedaquiline and fumaric acid. It has a role as an antitubercular agent and an ATP synthase inhibitor.

Application

Inhibition of ATP synthase disrupts the energy production of the bacteria and leads to their death. Bedaquiline Fumarate is active against mycobacteria.
